Join with fellow parishioners striving to embrace a "faith that does justice" through prayer & reflection, education, and action. Outreach opportunities include preparing and serving meals to those in our community in need.
Parishioners donate food each week to provide food bags for those in need. Over 70 bags of groceries are distributed each month. Donations barrels are at church entrances.
Our mission is to provide a loving and safe environment which promotes full membership in the Body of Christ and the Church through education and understanding of Church teachings, mutual support and conversation; outreach to our gay and lesbian brothers and sisters; and social events that make all feel welcome and included.
Our Hospitality & Welcoming Committee helps to plan major Parish events and provide a welcoming atmosphere for parishioners and visitors to Saint Agnes. Each Sunday after the 10:30am Liturgy all are welcome to gather in the hospitality area of the church for fellowship and refreshments.
Interested parishioners meet Saturdays at 1pm for discussion and prayer.
Adults, young adults, and teenagers are invited to serve as greeters, ushers, lectors and Eucharistic ministers at our liturgies. Training is provided throughout the year. The Liturgy and Environment Committee helps plan and oversee our worship and prepare the worship space. Our choir rehearses on Tuesday evenings at 7:30pm and sings at the 10:30am Mass on Sundays. Our commitment is to assure that no member of our community grieves alone, in the case of death or other losses. Our ministry consists of: written support at the time of loss, individual calls and visits as needed, group support resources. Training is available.
